I am an educator, researcher, and writer whose work focuses on Non-Parental Experiences (NPEs), identity disruption, and the long-term impact of hidden or altered family narratives.
My writing draws from lived experience as an NPE and from scholarship in literacy, cognition, and narrative identity. I explore how people make meaning after foundational truths collapse—and how identity, belonging, and self-trust are rebuilt over time.
This site is a home for my essays, long-form projects, and forthcoming books. My work is reflective and research-aware, but it is not therapy, clinical guidance, or genetic counseling.
